It's coming along...

Hopefully you all are not sick of these constant updates! It is pretty exciting to us and we can't wait to move in!

Kitchen Floor

We finished laying the wood floor in the Kitchen on Saturday with lots of help from Ben's family, and a million calls to Dan for advice step by step, thanks everyone for all your help!
The floor is a bit dusty right now but I loved how it turned out!

Brick and such...

This is a picture of the back of our house and the brick on the front of the house. I can't wait for the finished product!

Fall to Winter

I took these pictures within a week of each other. The beautiful colors are fading and the snow is falling. Here comes a long, cold Logan winter!

House Update

Here is a quick update on the things that have been done on the house lately:

Rob and my dad came and helped us paint...Rob looked like a circus monkey afterward...

The next week Rob and my dad helped us lay tile...

The siding and the brick are going up!

House Update

These pictures were taken a few weeks ago but I forgot about them! Here is the house with the windows, doors, and roof on. We have recently painted and will be soon laying the tile and doing the finish electrical, and the exterior should be on soon!

My Brother Cory and his wife Kimmy had their first baby on November 1, 2009 at 8:30pm. He weighed 8lbs. 15 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. He is so adorable!

Halloween

This year was Ben's first time carving a pumpkin with a pattern, I told him the one he picked out would be hard to do, but he thought it would be fine. It took him 3 1/2 hours to finish and we were up until 2:30am finishing it :)

I didn't know what to be for Halloween this year so before my family's party started I ran down stairs and found an old costume my little sister wore in first grade...a pumpkin :)
Below is everyone who dressed up. Victoria (the vampire on the bottom) is pretty scary looking in this picture.

Painting? This May Be a Problem...

Well the house is coming right along. This week we are painting...I hope.

Murphy's Law: "whatever can go wrong will go wrong"

This week we are scheduled to prep and paint the house, and out of all weeks Ben is away on a business trip. This leaves me alone to do a pretty big job. No fun, but managable if I take a couple of days off of work....and usually my job allows me to have a pretty flexible schedule, but of course I have a deadline for a pretty huge project that needs to be met by the end of the week. This dilema has caused a lot of stress inside and I am not sure yet how I will handle it. All I can say is wish me luck and come home soon Ben!
