July

July was a very busy month. Besides the 4th of July, camping, a tirp to the hogle zoo, the Preston carnival and more trips to the pool we also got to find out the gender of our baby on the way!  Enjoy our many snapshots of our adventurous July!

Here is our baby BOY letting us know he is #1!

I love the 3D ultrasounds, from what we can see we think this little guy already looks like his big brother.

4th of July

We spent our 4th of July at Bear Lake, which surprisingly really wasn't that busy.  We all had so much fun and plan on doing this for years to come...hopefully!

Kai was so exhausted from his big day at the lake that he just couldn't handle the fireworks, so we called it an early night.

Camping at Smith Moorehouse Lake

This was Kai's first camping trip and I think overall it was a success.

Here is my little wilderness man, he had to have at least one of these items in his hands.

On the first night Kai went to the car crying for home, poor kid didn't know what he was in for.

Kai loved throwing rocks into the lake.

Hogle Zoo

The week after camping we had Kai's cousin Lizzy staying with us, Kai loved it and missed her when she had to leave.  We made sure to have lots of fun while she was with us and one of our stops was the Hogle Zoo.

Here is our Lion, Tigers, and Bear that we saw while there!

Preston Carnival

The carnival was a lot more fun this year since we had little Kai to enjoy all the fun rides.

Kai seemed to really like this ride, but his cousin Kensington wasn't too sure about it.

Kai really liked turning in his ticket before he would get on a ride, but if there was a line he would get impatient and start trying to give his ticket away to anyone he could see, it was pretty funny.

July Adventures

The rest of our July was filled with...

Learning to drive...

Learning to shave...

Lots of bike riding down our driveway...

Duck watching in our backyard...

Falling asleep while eating caramel corn...

and cookies...

Making brownies...

Drinking Jamba Juice...

 Trips to the splash pad...

and backyard pool...

 And lots of baths!
