April

April was full of several Easter Egg Hunts, Baby Animal Days and some warmer days to finally go outside and enjoy the weather.  

Kai loved all the Animals at baby animals days, especially the horsey!

Kai and Kensington had an Easter Egg hunt the night before Easter, below is a picture of Kai racing Kensington to an egg they both spotted, he was behind but made it to the egg first.  He was pretty quick and we had to hold him back a few times to Kens could get some eggs.

Easter morning Kai found a trail of candy filled eggs left by the Easter Bunny that led him to his basket.  He was very spoiled!

 Kai loved wearing his snow boots around the house, he looked so cute with his boots and no pants.

They started building on the lot next to us and Kai had to eat his breakfast in the sink every morning so he could watch the trucks and tractors working!  Here he is taking a break from eating so he can clap for the big trucks!

Oh, and we found out that we are PREGNANT!  Ben and I decided at the end of March that we wanted to have another child but we were not expecting it to happen so quickly.  I just had a feeling that I should take a pregnancy test, this was sometime in the middle of April (I wish I wrote the date down, it was some day in the teens).  Ben said I would be wasting a pregnancy test but I told him I was taking one anyway and he could come along if he wanted.  Sure enough he came to see the results and it was negative.  He smugly walked out of the bathroom and returned a few seconds later after I started yelling for him to come back.  The little blue line turned to a positive shortly after he left.  We were both shocked and VERY excited.  Our due date is December 16, 2012.
